Women's tennis to compete at ITA Northeast Regional

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown women's tennis team will compete at the ITA Northeast Regional hosted by Army West Point this Friday, Oct. 1 through Sunday, Oct. 3.
The Bears competing at the regional will be looking to secure a place at the ITA Super Regional at Princeton beginning on Oct. 14. Based on her play so far this fall, junior Britany Lau was one of 14 players selected in the region to go straight to Super Regionals without having to compete at the regional level.
The student-athletes who will represent Brown this weekend at Regionals in singles competition are seniors Ryan Peus and Sophia Reddy, sophomores Ali Benedetto and Nora Lee, and freshman Lindsey Hofflander.
In doubles competition, Reddy and Hofflander will compete as a pair, as will Peus and Benedetto, and Lau and Lee.
