Water Polo Hits the Road for Three Games at Princeton

The Bears will take on Navy, George Washington and Stanford over the weekend.
PRINCETON, N.J. – The Brown men's water polo team is back in the pool for three games over the weekend at the Princeton Invitational on Saturday (Sept. 11) and Sunday (Sept. 12).
The Bears (5-1) are coming off of a strong weekend in their first tournament and will take on Navy and George Washington on Saturday before playing Stanford on Sunday to end the weekend. The game against Navy begins at 1 p.m. with the game against George Washington starting at 7:15 p.m. The clash with Stanford is scheduled for 10:30 a.m.
SCOUTING BROWN
Brown began its season with a loss before winning its next five games in the Bruno Classic last weekend. The last three games for the Bears were decided by at least seven goals.
With the strong beginning weekend, the Bears are now receiving votes in the CWPA Men's Varsity Top 20 poll.
SCOUTING NAVY
Navy is receiving votes in the CWPA Men's Varsity Top 20 poll after splitting its opening weekend. The two losses came against #3 Cal and #9 UC Davis.
SCOUTING GEORGE WASHINGTON
George Washington is receiving votes but lost to two top-15 teams in its opening weekend of the season.
Andras Levai leads the team with six goals through the first three games of the season.
SCOUTING STANFORD
Stanford comes into the weekend as the No. 3 team in the nation. The Cardinal won three games, all against Top-15 teams in the first weekend of the year.
Beck Jurasius is the top scorer for the Cardinal with nine goals on the season.
