What to Know About Brown (1-1-0):
- The Bears rebounded in a big way after falling to Hofstra in the season opener by taking down Holy Cross in a dominant 4-0 showing. Brittany Raphino, Maesyn G'Bye, Miya Grant-Clavijo, and Ava Seelenfreund all scored for Brown.
- Seelenfreund currently sits atop the team with three points as she also picked up an assist against the Crusaders. Zoe Maxwell and Kayla Duran each also recorded assists in last Sunday's win, with Duran's being her first point as a Bear.
- The Brown defense was impressive against Holy Cross, allowing four shots with only one on goal. Starting keeper Kayla Thompson had a quiet first half, before Clare Gagne came on in the second to make the game's only save.
- The Rams have played a pair of close games to start the season as they opened the year with a 1-1 tie with Providence, before falling to Northeastern 1-0.
- Brooke Cavino has the team's only goal to this point in the year, with the assist coming from Rebecca D'Anna.
- In goal, Faith Hutchins has started and played in every minute of the first two games, while posting a .90 goals against average and a .778 save percentage.
- The Bears and Rams most recently faced off on Sept. 16, 2018. It was a lopsided affair with Brown claiming the 5-0 victory.
- Charlotte DeVaughn and Zoe Maxwell each scored a goal, while Maesyn G'Bye and Claire Myers had two assists and Malina Yago had one.
- Brown leads the all-time series between the two sides at 19-6-1. The Bears have won the last six dating back to 2009 by a combined score of 18-4.
