Softball has 13 Bears named NFCA All-America Scholar Athletes

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) released its 2020-21 Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athletes and 13 Bears earned the honor, the NFCA announced on Tuesday (Oct. 5).
Head Coach Kate Refsnyder's squad posted a team GPA of 3.58, good for 51st in all of Division I softball. The 13 Bears that made the Scholar Athlete list all posted GPAs of over 3.5.
The Bears softball student-athlete to earn the honor are: Jodie Aguirre, Madeline Charles, Karina Chavarria, Kathleen Clum, Meghan Gormley, Julie Gubner, Jadey Hagiwara, Lauren Innerst, Nicole Kim, Lauren Long, Layla Lynch, Katie O'Leary and Elayna Tsiouplis.
The 13 Bears join a list of 1,982 NCAA Division I student-athletes to earn the honor from the NFCA. See the full list of NCAA Division I honorees here.
