Water polo takes down Connecticut College, 13-7

NEW LONDON, Conn. – Two Bears had three goals each as Brown picked up a 13-7 road win at Connecticut College on Wednesday (Oct. 27).

Brown was led by Anderson Todd and Max Boucher who each scored three goals. Stephen Salle finished the game with two goals and three assists. In the final quarter, Salle stepped into goal and finished with seven blocks on eight shots, including a penalty shot.

Simeon Dong played the first three quarters in goal, making nine saves and scoring a goal of his own.

Brown started out quickly, scoring the first four goals of the game in less than four minutes. Todd scored two goals, while Boucher and Salle each scored a goal during the run. Ben Krishon scored a goal for Brown's fifth goal of the quarter.

Todd's third goal of the game early in the second made the score 6-3 but Connecticut College quickly pulled back within two. From there, Brown took over scoring the last five goals of the half. Boucher scored twice as Salle, Ben Resko and Gabe Chang all scored a goal. After the run. Brown led 11-4 at the half.

Connor Enright and Dong each scored in the second half to help the Bears earn their 15^th win of the season.

Brown will be home for the weekend with three matches. The Bears will play Iona on Saturday (Oct. 30) at 3 p.m. before play St. Francis Brooklyn and Princeton on Sunday (Oct. 31).
