Both teams are looking to get back on track after coming off a loss in their most recent conference contests. Brown fell to Princeton at home and Harvard came up short at Cornell.
Scouting the Bears (3-7-0, 1-1-0 IVY):
- Last weekend, Brown took a 1-0 lead into halftime against Princeton after a Kojo Dadzie goal, but the Tigers used three second-half strikes to claim the win.
- In 2019, the Bears never lost two Ivy League games in a row and will be looking to continue that trend this year.
- Dadzie's goal gave him two on the year and made him the only Bear, besides Derek Waleffe who has a team-leading five goals, to have scored more than once on the season.
- Harvard surrendered five first-half goals to then-No. 24 Cornell last Saturday before storming back in the second half with four of its own, but the comeback fell one goal short.
- On the season, Alessandro Arlotti leads the team with five goals and three assists for 13 points. Willem Ebbinge has a team-high four assists.
- Oskar Nilsson has started eight of the team's 10 games in goal and has posted a 1.51 goals against average and a .768 save percentage.
- Harvard leads the all-time series against Brown at 49-13-14. Since 2010, the Bears have the slight edge at 4-3-3, including a win in each of the last two meetings.
- In 2019, Brown claimed a 3-0 win in Cambridge. That game featured a Waleffe goal in the 50th minute when he headed in a corner kick. The Bear defense only allowed six shots all game.
