PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Kayla Duran of Brown women's soccer has been named the Ivy League Player of the Week, as announced by the conference office Monday.
Duran scored what would end up being the game-winning goal in the Bear's 3-1 victory over Princeton. She also helped anchor a defense that limited a Tiger offense that had been averaging 15.7 shots a game to nine.
The Bears have now earned the Ivy League Player of the Week award three weeks in a row. Brittany Raphino received the honor on Sept. 27 and Kayla Thompson on Oct. 4. Brown is 3-0 through three league contests and has outscored its competition 9-2.
Duran and the Bears are back in action this Saturday, Oct. 16 when they travel to Harvard for a 4 p.m. matchup.
