Softball Introduces Eight-Member Class of 2024

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown University softball will welcome eight incoming freshmen to the program for the 2021 season as part of its Class of 2024, head coach Kate Refsnyder announced on Wednesday.
The group includes three newcomers from the state of Illinois, two from California, two from Texas, and one from Iowa. The cohort provides the Bears with a versatile group of student-athletes who collectively can play in the battery, infield, and outfield.
The Brown Class of 2024 includes pitcher Jodie Aguirre (Alvin, Texas), pitcher/first base Jaiden Ditimus (Temecula, Calif.), utility Dara English (Redondo Beach, Calif.), utility Jayme Gross (Orland Park, Ill.), pitcher/outfield Hayleigh Juenger (O'Fallon, Ill.), catcher/utility Moe Kastens (Edwardsville, Ill.), utility Layla Lynch (Katy, Texas), and utility Brianna Rodriguez (Des Moines, Iowa).
