The Champions League's first qualifying round features 40 teams playing single elimination matches to reach the second qualifying round. After the draw for the second qualifying round on November 6, the 20 teams remaining in qualifying will compete on November 18 or 19 with the 10 winners advancing to the round of 32, joining the 22 teams that received byes directly into that round.
Gintra has won 16 straight A Lyga titles (2005-present) and will compete at the highest level of European club football for the 17th straight season after five appearances in the UEFA Women's Cup and now 12 straight appearances in the UEFA Women's Champions League since the competition was re-branded in 2009. Gintra has reached the round of 32 on three occasions (2015, 2018, 2019) and the round of 16 once (2018).
