Annapolis, Md. - Playing at the US Naval Academy for the first time ever, the 16th ranked Brown men's squash team cruised to a 6-3 win over the 18th ranked Midshipmen Tuesday evening.

"This was the program's first visit to Annapolis and they ended up winning a very competitive match," said head coach Stuart leGassick. "It was balanced on the edge for quite some time, and we're very happy to come away with a win."

Sophomore Grant Sterman earned a 3-0 victory at number two to set the pace for the Bears. Brown captured matches five through nine with victories by freshman Ahmed Amin, who came back from a 2-1 deficit to win 3-2, senior Nicholas Pitaro (3-1), senior Harrison Boyer, who also trailed 2-1 and fought back for a 3-2 win, senior Blake Gilbert-Bono (3-1) and freshman Raghav Pemmireddy (3-0).

The Bears play at Virginia on Wednesday at 6:00 pm.
