Men's Squash Closes Regular Season With 8-1 Win Over Tufts

Medford, Mass. - The 15th ranked Brown men's squash team wrapped up its regular season by cruising to an 8-1 victory over #24 Tufts Tuesday evening. The Bears are idle until the the National Team Championship, starting February 28 in Cambridge, Mass.
"After a demanding and exciting match against Dartmouth on Sunday it was hard for the team to maintain that level of intensity on Tuesday evening," said head coach Stuart leGassick. We are happy with the team's concentration and commitment - and we now have the next two-plus weeks to train uninterrupted for the team nationals at Harvard.
The Bears captured matches one through six with victories by junior Max Moyer, 3-0, sophomore Grant Sterman, 3-1, junior Andrew Wei, 3-0, sophomore Declan McCarthy, 3-0, freshman Ahmed Amin, 3-0 and senior Harrison Boyer, 3-0. senior Blake Gilbert-Bono won, 3-0, at eight, and freshman Raghav Pemmireddy won, 3-1, at nine.
