
Men's Squash Presents Team Awards, Names Team Captains and Announces Class of 2024

Providence, R.I. - The Brown Men's squash team has announced its team awards for the 2019-2020 season, named their incoming captains for the 2020-2021 season and released the incoming Class of 2024. Â

There were several awards received, including the Best Record at the Team Nationals, which went to senior Harrison Boyer, who went 2-1 at the Nationals, winning matches against Franklin and Marshall and George Washington.

Freshman Raghav Pemmireddy won the Most Improved Player award. The Quint Stevenson Memorial MVP award was presented to junior Max  Moyer. Senior Nicholas Pitaro won the Coaches Award.

Six players received CSA Scholar-Athlete Awards, given to juniors and seniors who have played in 50% or more of the matches and have a 3.5 GPA or better. Earning CSA Scholar-Athlete Awards were seniors Harrison Boyer, Nicholas Pitaro, and Blake Gilbert- Bono,  along with juniors Max Moyer, Andrew Wei and Will Glaser. In addition,  Moyer was named a Winter Academic All-Ivy selection.

Head coach Stuart leGassick also announced team captains for the 2020-21 season -Â rising seniors Max Moyer, Will Glaser, John Paul Champa, and Andrew Wei.

The Brown team very much appreciates the efforts of the seniors Nicholas Pitaro, Harrison Boyer, and Blake Gilbert-Bono for their leadership, commitment, and efforts on and off the squash courts over their four years at Brown.

Coach Stuart leGassick's squad looks forward to the arrival of the freshmen in the fall: Thomas Hogan from, The Episcopal Academy, Newton Square, PA,  and Blake Roshkoff,  Friend's Central School, Wynnewood PA.
