#16 Men's Squash Takes Down Dickinson, 9-0

Providence, R.I. – The 16^thranked Brown men's squash team enjoyed a 9-0 win over Dickinson College Monday evening at the Pizzitola Sports Center's Kate Brodsky Squash Pavilion, winning seven of the nine matches by a 3-0 margin.

"We were focused and determined after playing our third match in three days," said Bears head coach Stuart leGassick. "We are very happy with their application. It sets them up well for Amherst in under 48 hours!"

Freshman Grant Sterman led the Bears at the top of the lineup with a hard fought five-game 11-7, 11-8, 8-11, 10-12, 11-6 decision.

The Bears also received wins by sophomore Andrew Wei, 3-0, at number two; freshman Deelan McCarthy, 3-0, at three; senior Philip Demeulenaere, 3-1, at number four; junior Harrison Boyer, 3-0, at number five; junior Nick Pitaro at number six; sophomore William Glaser at number seven; senior Ben Caraballo, 3-0, at number eight; and junior Blake Gilbert-Bono, 3-0, at number nine.

Brown is back in action again on Wednesday, January 16 at Amherst with a 1:00 pm start.
