#15 Bears Fall At Home vs. #9 Princeton and #4 Penn

Providence, R.I. – The 15^thranked Brown squash team had its hands full this weekend, dropping matches against #9 Princeton, 8-1, and #4 Penn, 9-0 at the Pizzitola Sports Center's Kate Brodsky Squash Pavilion.

"The men's team put up a feisty resistance to the Princeton team," said Brown head coach Stuart leGassick. "We are happy with the application put forward by the team - everyone fought hard against a solid Princeton Squad. With a win from Blake Gilbert Bono at #9 and three players going to five games we really competed up and down the ladder."

Gilbert-Bono's win at number nine against the Tigers came by a 11-8,11-4,11-9 margin, having complete control of the match.

"We put up a great effort again against Princeton," added leGassick. "Will Glaser's 3-2 loss at #7 reflected how hard the team worked against a strong and deep team."

The Bears are back in action again Monday evening, January 14, hosting Dickinson at 6:00 pm.
