Women’s Soccer’s G’Bye Gains Ivy League Rookie of the Week

PRINCETON, N.J. – Brown University women's soccer freshman back Maesyn G'Bye has earned Ivy League Rookie of the Week honors, the Ivy League conference office announced on Monday.
A native of Ladera Ranch, Calif., G'Bye posted an assist and 16 corner kicks taken last week. She notched an assist off a corner in the Bears' 3-2 overtime win over UMass Lowell on Tuesday. She created several dangerous chances off her long throw-ins and corners, serving nine corners vs. UMass Lowell and seven at Dartmouth.
G'Bye and the Bears return home to Stevenson-Pincince Field to host Columbia University on Saturday, Sept. 29 at 3:30 p.m. (ESPN+) in their Ivy League home opener.
Video of all Brown women's soccer home contests and all Ivy League games, home and away, will be broadcast live on ESPN+.
Tickets for all Brown women's soccer games can be purchased online, by calling the Brown Athletics Ticket Office at (401) 863-2773, or by walking up to the box office located in the Pizzitola Sports Center, open Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
