
Men’s Soccer Entertains Yale on Saturday for Senior Day

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown men's soccer team will welcome Yale to Stevenson-Pincince Field on Saturday afternoon (3:30 PM) for Senior Day. The game will broadcast on ESPN+.

THE IVY LEAGUE ON ESPN

LAST TIME OUT
Brown dropped a tough 2-1 decision at Penn last weekend, falling to the Quakers in double overtime. Senior Toby Howell notched the equalizer in the 86th minute to force extra time, but Penn's Jake Kohlbrenner scored 49 seconds into the second overtime period. Max Gross had one stop for the Bears in net. The two teams were even in shots, 12-12.
SCOUTING YALE
Yale (6-5-3, 1-2-2 Ivy) most recently fell to Columbia, 2-1, last Saturday. Rookie Paolo Carroll leads the team with 13 points and five assists, while Nicky Downs also has four goals to go along with 12 points. Tom Wallenstein has started all but three games in net and heads into Providence with a 1.25 goals-against average and a .737 save percentage. Yale is 4-2-1 on the road this season. The Bulldogs are averaging 1.35 goals per game, which is good enough for third in the Ivy League in scoring.
LAST TIME AGAINST YALE
Brown and Yale played to a scoreless draw in New Haven last season. Brown is 6-0-3 against Yale over the last nine games.
