PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown men's soccer team will look to capture its fourth-straight win on Saturday when the Bears play host to Cornell (3 PM) at Stevenson-Pincince Field.

THE IVY LEAGUE ON ESPN

LAST TIME OUT
Brown beat crosstown rival Providence College, 1-0, on Tuesday for its second shutout in as many games and third straight win. Joseph Lee scored the game winner in the 69th minute for his first career goal, while senior Gabe Welp earned an assist. Rookie James Swomley made two saves for his second shutout of the season.
OVERTIME EXCELLENCE
Brown improved to 3-0 in overtime games this season after the team beat Harvard, 1-0, in double OT last weekend.
SCOUTING CORNELL
Cornell (9-3, 2-1) fell to Yale last weekend to snap a six-game winning streak. Cornell boasts the top scoring offense in the Ivy League at 2.08 goals per game. Individually, Emeka Eneli and Charles Touche lead the league in scoring with 16 and 14 points, respectively. Eneli has a league-high seven goals, while Harry Fuller leads the way with four assists. Ryan Shellow has played every game and heads into the match with a 1.30 goals-against average and a .733 save percentage. Cornell is 7-1 in road games this season.

Brown fell at Cornell, 1-0, in double overtime last season. The teams are even at two wins apiece over the last four seasons.
SWOMLEY NAMED IVY ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Freshman James Swomley was named the Ivy League Rookie of the Week on Oct. 15 after helping the Bears to a pair of wins over Holy Cross and Harvard. He allowed one goal over two games, highlighted by his first career shutout in the victory over Harvard. After backstopping the Bears to a midweek win at Holy Cross, Swomley made two saves against the Crimson, including a key stop with six minutes left in regulation en route to a double overtime win.
