BROWN TALKING POINTS
Carisa Wahlig enters her first season as the head coach of the Bears in 2018-19. Wahlig came to College Hill after leading the Lake Forest College women's hockey program for 13 seasons, where she was the school's all-time winningest coach with a 201-101-39 record (135-65-32 NCHA).
Brown returns four of its top six scorers from last season, which include junior Sena Hanson (8-7-15), sophomore Kaitijane Blumberg (6-6-12), senior Cara Najjar (1-11-12) and senior Bridget Carey (4-3-7). Brown also return the bulk of its defense in senior Abby Niewchas, Najjar and senior Leah Olson, who missed all but one game last season due to injury. The duo will be joined by freshman Hayley Kliczko.
