
Women's Soccer Unveils 2016 Schedule

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown University women's soccer will host eight home games and four Ivy League contests as part of its 16-match 2016 schedule, which begins on Aug. 28, Brown head coach Kia McNeill announced on Tuesday.
The Bears open their 2016 fall season with a home date against the University of Rhode Island on Sunday, Aug. 28 at 1:00 p.m. and welcome four Ivy League opponents to Stevenson-Pincince Field beginning with Columbia on Saturday, Oct. 1.
After hosting URI, Brown plays at Buffalo on Thursday, Sept. 1 in its first road contest of the year prior to hosting Stony Brook on Sunday, Sept. 4 over Labor Day weekend.
Bruno then competes in a pair of road non-conference matches, playing at crosstown rival Providence College on Thursday, Sept. 8 and at Lafayette on Sunday, Sept. 11.
Before embarking on Ivy play, Brown hosts Massachusetts on Thursday, Sept. 15, plays at Central Connecticut State on Sunday, Sept. 18, and hosts Sacred Heart on Wednesday, Sept. 21.
Brown opens Ivy action at Dartmouth College on Sunday, Sept. 25 at 1 p.m. before hosting Columbia in its Ivy home opener on Saturday, Oct. 1 at 3:30 p.m.
The Bears return to the road to play at defending league champion Princeton on Saturday, Oct. 8 before closing out their non-league slate with a match at Holy Cross on Tuesday, Oct. 11.
Following its non-conference finale, Bruno hosts a pair of Ancient Eight opponents when the team squares off with Harvard on Saturday, Oct. 15 and Cornell on Saturday, Oct. 22.
The Bears play their final road game of the year at Penn on Saturday, Oct. 29 and host Yale in their regular season finale on Saturday, Nov. 5.
