
Men's Crew Wraps Up Head of the Charles Regatta

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – After a win in the Men's Club 8 on the first day, the Brown University men's crew raced in a pair of championship events on Sunday to conclude the second and final day at the prestigious Head of the Charles Regatta in Cambridge, Mass.
Brown placed seventh out of 27 crews in the Men's Championship 8, the event with the highest level of competition at the regatta and consists of participating schools as well as international crews. The Bears completed the course in a time of 14:38, finishing ahead of Harvard, Cornell and Northeastern to round out the top 10 boats.
In the Men's Championship Fours, the Bears started in the 14th position and passed several crews to finish 10th overall with a time of 16:47.25.
In the Men's Club 8 race on Saturday, the Bears started in the 11th slot but passed several boats down the stretch and completed the challenging course in a winning time of 15:04. In addition, the men's freshmen 8 placed third with a time of 15:14, making it the strongest-ever performance for Bruno in the event.
