#19 Bears Fall To #3 Yale, 7-2

Providence, R.I. - Brown's 19th ranked men's squash team took on third-ranked Yale Tuesday evening at the Pizzitola Sports Center looking for an upset. In the end, Brown's strong effort wasn't enough, falling to the Bulldogs by a 7-2 margin.

Senior Charles Lebovitz earned a hard fought 3-2 win at number eight, coming from behind for a 7-11, 11-5, 5-11, 11-7, 11-4 victory. At number nine, sophomore Ross Freiman-Mendel came through with an 11-8, 11-13, 11-6, 11-2 win. Sophomore Jack Blasberg had an exciting match at number two, before falling, 3-1.

Coach Stuart leGassick's team will be back at the Kate Brodsky Squash Pavilion again on Friday, February 7 at 6pm.
