DULUTH, GA - The Gwinnett Gladiators of the ECHL announced Wednesday that they have signed senior Dan Rosen (Syosset, NY). His signing comes in the wake of starting goaltender Danny Taylor's sixth call-up to the American Hockey League's Syracuse Crunch this season.
In four seasons at Brown, Rosen appeared in 74 games, turning in
a record of 17-39-11, a .908 save percentage, and a 3.24 goals
against average to go along with two shutouts. The 5-foot-11,
160-pound net minder appeared in nine games as a senior, finishing
with a 1-2 record, a 4.20 goals against average, and an .889 save
percentage, including a 21-save shutout in his final career
appearance with the Bears.
Prior to skating at Brown, Rosen spent two junior seasons in the
United States Hockey League from 2004 to 2006, appearing with the
Green Bay Gamblers, Omaha Lancers, and Waterloo Black Hawks.
The Gladiators are the AA affiliate of the Atlanta Thrashers and
Columbus Blue Jackets. Brown alum, Sean Hurley '08, is also
currently playing for the Gladiators and has five points (1g, 4a)
in 39 games.
