Notes: Sailing became a varsity sport at Brown prior to the 2020-21 academic year.
2020-21: Earned a Fulbright Scholarship … Served as a reserve at the ICSA Women’s National Championship, helping Brown place fourth as a team … Acted as a reserve at the NEISA Women’s Championship, helping the Bears take first as a team … Race during the regular season against Rhode Island (Apr. 24), Tufts (May 14), and USCGA (May 15) … Season shortened due to COVID-19.
Before Brown: Earned team’s Most Valuable Member award in 2017 and Most Improved Sailor award in 2014 … Raced for head coach Susie Kaseler … Sailed with the Port Madison Yacht Club Junior Race Team … Also competed in gymnastics for coaches Cindy Guy and Bryan Garoutte … Gained the Washington State Honors Award in 2017.

Why Brown? “I chose Brown because the open curriculum gave me the flexibility to explore all of the different subjects that I am interested in. Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, I was also excited to see a new part of the country.”
