Women’s Sailing Posts Fourth Place Finish in ICSA Fleet Race National Semifinals, Finishes Eighth in Championship

After leading for most of the event, the Bears finished a strong fourth place overall in the Western Semifinal from May 15-16 to qualify for the National Championship races.
Skippers Katherine McNamara and Laura Hamilton, along with crews Gabriela Collins and Katherine Majette won the B-Division in the semifinals.
Brown finished eighth overall, with Stanford winning the event.
This marks the third year in a row that the women's team has placed within the top 10 at the Women's Fleet Race National Championship. The Bears finished ninth in 2025, and fifth in 2024.
