Curtis Stoychoff is in his second year at Brown University as the Associate Director of Athletic Communications. After joining Brown in 2021 as an Assistant Director, he was promoted to Associate Director in the spring of 2023.
Prior to Brown, Stoychoff spent three years at the College of the Holy Cross as the Assistant Director of Media Relations. In Worcester, he served as the primary contact for the men's and women's ice hockey, softball, women's soccer, field hockey, swimming and diving, and tennis programs.
During his time on The Hill, Stoychoff oversaw the introduction of new head men's ice hockey coach Bill Riga, women's ice hockey's transition into Hockey East, including the inaugural 2018-19 season and the program's first-ever Hockey East Tournament appearance in 2020-21, and the softball team's record-setting 2019 season.
Before Holy Cross, Stoychoff spent a year at Tufts University as an Athletic Communications Assistant. At Tufts, he was the primary contact for the men's soccer, women's basketball, swimming and diving, lacrosse, and cross country teams. Stoychoff oversaw deep NCAA playoff runs from multiple teams, as men's soccer and men's lacrosse won NESCAC championships and, along with women's basketball, advanced to the quarterfinals of their respective national brackets.
Stoychoff is a 2017 graduate of Boston University where he earned his bachelor's degree in journalism with concentrations in broadcast sports journalism and political science. As an undergraduate, he completed internships with Wheelock College Sports Information, WHDH-TV Sports, and Comcast SportsNet New England.
Stoychoff and his wife, Sarah, reside in Uxbridge, Mass. with their two cats, Phoebe and Amelia.
