
Saito Finishes Season at NCAA Wrestling Championships

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - Blake Saito (157) wrapped up his senior season with the Bears on Thursday (Mar. 20) at the NCAA Wrestling Championships.
Saito, a 26 seed entering the tournament, started the day by facing 7 seed Vinny Zerban (Northern Colorado) and dropped the contest via pinfall (6:50).
In the consolation bracket, Saito faced 10 seed Ethen Miller (Maryland) and lost the match via major decision (14-2).
"We are all proud of Blake and grateful for the many contributions he has made to the program, especially those unseen," said head coach Jordan Leen.
Saito finishes his senior campaign with a 13-7 overall record, while going 51-39 over the course of his career with the Brown wrestling program.
