Kassidy Sauvé joined the Brown women's hockey team as a volunteer assistant coach in 2019 and completed her first season with the program in 2019-20.
Sauvé currently competes in the Professional Women’s Hockey Players Association. Prior to the PWHPA, Sauvé enjoyed a standout collegiate career at Clarkson (2018-19) and Ohio State (2014-17). With the Golden Knights, Sauvé earned Third-Team ECAC All-Star honors after starting 36 games. She posted a .937 save pct. (eighth in nation), a 1.71 goals-against average (sixth) and was second in the country in wins with a 27-7-2 record, which included seven shutouts (third). Sauvé set the school record for saves with 917 and was named to the ECAC All-Tournament Team and ECAC Hockey All-Academic Team. With the Buckeyes, Sauvé earned All-American honors for the 2016-2017 campaign and backstopped Ohio State to the NCAA Frozen Four in 2017-18, posting a 19-9-4 record with 10 shutouts, a 1.88 GAA and a .938 save percentage through 32 starts. She set the Buckeyes' career mark in shutouts with 22 in 88 career games and was selected All-USCHO Third-Team All-Star in 2017-18.
Sauvé graduated from Ohio State in 2018 with a degree in Sport Industry and received her MBA from Clarkson in 2019.
