Clint Williams joined the Brown Women's Basketball program as an assistant coach in July of 2023.
Williams joins the Bears after spending the past three season as an assistant coach with Indiana State.
Prior to Indiana State, Williams spent three seasons at Morehead State, serving as an assistant coach and the program's recruiting coordinator. Williams oversaw the post players for Morehead State and helped the team lead the Ohio Valley Conference and finish in the top-10 in the NCAA in total blocks and blocks per game. Under Williams, the Eagles also placed among the league's top rebounding teams.
Alongside his duties at Morehead State, Williams also served as the associate head women's basketball coach for the U.S. Virgin Islands Senior Women's National Team, leading the team to a berth in the 2019 Pan American Games in Lima, Peru. With the Virgin Islands National Team, he is responsible for selecting the team's players and organizing multiple facets of the team's program.
During his time with the U.S.V.I. program, Williams has helped coach the team to a gold medal in the 2023 Central American and Caribbean Games in El Salvador, and at the 2017 FIBA Centrobasket Tournament, defeating the world's eighth-ranked Brazil at the FIBA America's Tournament.
Williams has also served on the coaching staffs of Moberly (Mo.) Area Community College, Merrimack and the men's staff at Tuskegee.
Williams graduated from Arkansas Baptist College in 2010 with an associate's degree in African American Leadership before transferring to finish up his basketball career at Tuskegee. Following his time at Tuskegee, he played professionally for the American Basketball Association's Georgia Gwizzlies and the Kings team in the New Breed Basketball Association in the Virgin Islands.
Williams graduated from Tuskegee in 2013 with a bachelor's degree in psychology.
