Why Brown? “Shadowing a student-athlete for two days inspired confidence that Brown’s open curriculum would allow me to chart a unique course of study in science. The university’s unique educational system removes artificial barriers impeding multi-disciplinary study. Some of the most interesting scientific advancements blend research in several sub-fields. Owing to the curriculum's flexibility, I could explore diverse intellectual interests and absorb the unique perspectives of my peers.”
