2021-22: Competed in eight meets for the Bears ... Finished 15th in the 100 free at the Ivy League Championships and also competed in the 200 freestyle and 50 freestyle ... Took second in the 100 free against Bryant in the season opener ... Placed second in the 100 freestyle at Penn ... Finished third in the 100 free and fourth in the 200 free against Yale ... Took second in the 100 freestyle at the Bruno Invitational ... Posted a second-place finish in the 100 freestyle against Columbia ... Had fifth-place finishes in both the 50 free and the 100 fly at Harvard.

2020-21: Season canceled due to COVID-19.

2019-20: Competed in all eight meets for the Bears … Finished 10th in the 200 freestyle at the Ivy League Championships while also swimming in the 100 freestyle and 100 backstroke … Came in third in the 200 freestyle at Harvard … Took third in the 100 backstroke against UConn.

2018-19: Competed in the 50 freestyle, 100 freestyle and 100 butterfly at the Ivy League Championships ... Finished fourth in the 200 freestyle against Cornell ... Took fourth in both the 200 and 500 freestyle ... Appeared in three meets for the Bears.

Before Brown: Competed in swimming at Park City High School ... Named Athlete of the Year ... Achieved the honor roll in every semester ... Ranked in the top 10 percent of his class ... Also competed for Wasatch Front Fish Market.

Personal: Son of Karin and Niklaus Hess ... Has two siblings, Vincent and Joelle ... Plans to concentrate in Engineering.
