Sean Hendricks Ed.d. joined Brown in May 2022 as the Senior Associate Director of Athletics, Student-Athlete Development. At Brown, Hendricks oversees the student-athlete development unit, and student-athlete advisory committee (SAAC).
Hendricks spent two years as Assistant Athletics Director for Leadership and Personal Development and Chief of Staff of the Cameron Institute for Student-Athlete Development at the University of California, Berkeley. At Cal, Hendricks designed, implemented, and evaluated student-athlete development programs supporting 850 student-athletes. These programs included a leadership series, SAAC, programs to help first-year student-athletes, and a captain's program.
Hendricks joined Cal after 12 years at Rowan University, where he served in various roles, including Assistant Vice President of Academic Support Programs. At Rowan, Hendricks designed, implemented, and led programs to support the holistic development of students.
A football student-athlete at Towson, Hendricks earned a bachelor's in health sciences. He received his master's from McDaniel College and a doctor of education (Ed.D.) from Rowan in 2014.
