At Villanova, Banks helped with all aspects of the program including recruiting, session planning, video analysis, player development as well as academic success. With Banks assistance in the recruiting efforts, he helped Villanova bring in the first two (2016, 2017) top-20 ranked classes in program history.
Additionally, he coached and helped develop multiple award winners on and off the field. This included two players named to the All-Big East teams, one named to the All-Big East Freshman team, and one player named to the United Soccer Coaches All-Region Team as well as multiple All Big East academic award recipients.
Before Villanova, Banks spent three years at the Merchant Marine Academy, where he oversaw the program’s recruiting efforts, player development, strength and conditioning program and administrative duties. Defensive training is Banks' specialty.
