Brett Mastropoll began his second stint as a full-time staff member at Brown University in August of 2019 where he works with the football, wrestling and track and field programs. Prior to his return, he was on the staff at Johnson and Wales University working with softball, cross-country, men’s soccer, women’s crew and men’s ice hockey programs. From 2017-2018 Mastropoll was a member of the Brown University Sports Medicine staff as an intern working with volleyball and women’s rugby.
Mastropoll is certified as an athletic trainer from the National Athletic Trainers’ Association Board of Certified and licensed to practice in the state of Rhode Island. In addition, he has obtained status as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist form the National Strength and Conditioning Association Certification Commission. He has also gained additional expertise in Graston Technique, Kinesiotape, Myofascial Release Technique and Postural Restoration Institute: Myokinematic Restoration.
Mastropoll graduated from Quinnipiac University in 2015 with a bachelors in science in sports medicine/athletic training. He also graduated from Newman Carson University with a masters of business administration in 2017 where he was a graduate assistant athletic trainer working with the baseball, football, men’s track, women’s track, men’s swimming and women’s swimming programs.
Brett and his fiancé, Ashleigh, currently reside in Pawtucket, RI.
