PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown University football program has been recognized by the National Football Foundation and College Football Hall of Fame as having the most all-time honorees for the Hampshire Honor Society, the NFF announced on Wednesday.
With 2026 marking the 20th year of the Hampshire Honor Society, Brown is one of only 23 school nationwide across all levels of college football (FBS, FCS, DII, DIII, NAIA) to have had at least one honoree every single year since the debut of the award in 2007. In addition, Brown's 240 all-time honorees are the most of any school in the nation, 12 more than the 228 posted by Saint John's University (Minn.), and 21 more than Harvard's 219, which is the next closest Division I school.
Those numbers include Brown's 15 honorees for 2026: Tyler Baskett, Nolan Clark, Owen Clarke, Jackson Delaney, Dillon Golden, Ryan Haley, Liam Halligan, Nick Hudson, Nick Manley, Solomon Miller, Pat O'Neill, John Perdue, Ty Pezza, Sam Smith, and John Starman.
To be eligible for the Hampshire Honor Society, members must have met the following criteria:
In total, a record 2,596 players from 365 colleges and universities across the nation qualified as members of this year's list, the largest class in the 20-year history of the program. All eight Ivy League programs were represented, with Brown's 15 honorees ranking as the second-most in the league.
