Football Announces the Addition of Nathan Wiggins to Coaching Staff

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown head football coach James Perry '00 has announced the hiring of Nathan Wiggins as the Bears' new Offensive Quality Control Assistant. Wiggins brings over a decade of coaching experience to College Hill, most recently serving as the defensive coordinator and linebackers coach at Maine Maritime Academy.
Wiggins previously gained experience at the FBS level as a quality control assistant for cornerbacks at Louisiana-Lafayette and was also a defensive coordinator at Coahoma Community College. He served as a running backs coach at his alma mater, Adams State, as well as a strength and conditioning coach at the collegiate level.
Wiggins also coached overseas for the Troisdorf Jets U16 team in the German Football League, working with the linebackers and quarterbacks during the summer of 2014. Wiggins also played professionally for the Troisdorf Jets, earning First Team All-GFL honors as a linebacker.
Wiggins graduated from Adams State in 2014 with a degree in human performance and physical education and played linebacker for the Grizzlies from 2009-2013. He holds a Strength and Conditioning Specialist certification from the International Sports Sciences Association.
