Romain Bogaerts was hired as a volunteer assistant coach for the Brown men's tennis program in January of 2019 and will enter his second season with the program in 2019-20.Â
Bogaerts graduated from Wake Forest with a Bachelor Degree in Business & Enterprise Management and a Master Degree in Business Analytics after a stellar career with the Demon Deacon's. Bogaerts was the ITA National Rookie of the Year, a two-time singles All-American, an ACC Champion and a member of the All-ACC Academic Team. He also held a national ranking as high as No. 5. In his professional career, Bogaerts worked for major companies such as Wilson Sporting Goods, P&G and CVS. Bogaerts was born and raised in Belgium and grew up speaking French and Dutch.
