NEW YORK - Brown wrestling (5-9) heads to the Big Apple to compete in the 2026 Ivy League Wrestling Tournament. The second installment of the Ivy postseason tournament is scheduled for Sunday, March 8, at Schiller Court at Levien Gymnasium, home of Columbia. The Bears have eight wrestlers ranked in the latest RPI entering the weekend.Â
Andrew Reall (197) is the top seed in his bracket, and the No. 19/17 nationally-ranked wrestler has 32 wins this season, the most for a Brown wrestler since Justin Staudenmayer (32-12) in 2014-15. No. 27/22 Alex Semenenko (285) enters the Ivy League Tournament as the second seed for the heavyweights. He has ten total pinfalls (nine in Division I), tying him for fourth in NCAA Division I with James Campbell (Michigan State) and Malachi DuVall (George Mason).Â
No. 38 Khimari Manns (141) and No. 43 Max Norman (165) combined for a 39-28 record and 14-14 dual mark as freshmen. Norman leads all freshmen with 21 wins, while Manns has the highest-ranked win among the freshmen this season, defeating Columbia's No. 20 Lorenzo Frezza via decision, 13-11, on February 15.
No. 35 Austin McBurney (149) is 19-12 overall and 8-6 in duals. No. 43 Ethan Mojena (157) made his first appearance in the RPI rankings last week and is 18-16 overall, and No. 47 Drew Clearie is coming off three consecutive wins, including a 13-1 major decision over Columbia.Â
The last time a Bruno wrestler won their weight class at a conference tournament was in 2012 when Dave Foxen won the 174-pound bracket at the EIWA Championship. Last season, Semenenko placed fourth at the inaugural Ivy League Tournament, and Clearie and Reall both finished fifth.
