Reall, Semenenko and McBurney Qualify for 2026 NCAA Men's Wrestling Championship

INDIANAPOLIS - After qualifying for the 2026 NCAA Division I Men's Wrestling Championship, Brown wrestling's No. 18/No. 17 Andrew Reall (197), No. 25/No. 22 Alex Semenenko (285), and NA/No. 35 Austin McBurney (149) found out their seedings for the tournament, held at Rocket Arena in Cleveland from March 19-21.Â
Reall, who sits at 34-4 overall and 13-1 in dual competition, won the 197 lb bracket at last weekend's Ivy Championships and secured an 18 seed in Cleveland. His first opponent will be No. 16/No. 10 Remy Cotton (Rutgers), who enters the tournament as a 15 seed with an 18-7 overall record.
Semenenko, who finished the season with a 25-7 overall record and 12-2 in dual competition, is tied for sixth place in NCAA Division I with nine pinfalls (ten overall) against DI competition. Entering the tournament as a 25 seed, he will face 8 seed No. 8/NA Ben Kueter (Iowa), who went 9-7 during the season.Â
McBurney, who turned a 2-14 record last year into a 21-13 record this season, earned the 33 seed in his bracket after a third-place finish at the Ivy Championships. He will face 32 seed NA/No. 48 Clayton Jones (Michigan State), who enters the competition with an 11-15 overall record.Â
