Men’s Basketball Closes Regular Season Against Penn on Friday

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Brown men's basketball team (9-17, 3-10) will close out the regular season against Penn (15-11, 8-5) on Friday, tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. inside the Pizzitola Sports Center.
Prior to tip-off, Brown will honor its two seniors: Drew Kania and Landon Lewis.
Last Time Out
Brown dropped a hard-fought battle at Cornell, 86-80 (Feb. 28). Lewis led the way with 20 points and nine rebounds while Adrian Uchidiuno matched a career-high with 16 points. Luke Paragon also added 11 points for the Bears.
As a team, Brown had 21 assists on 31 made field goals.
Scouting Brown
Jeremiah Jenkins leads the Ivy League in total assists (134), assists per game (5.2), total steals (49), and steals per game (1.7). Lewis leads the Ivy League in points per game during conference play (19.1) and ranks second in rebounds during conference play (8.1)
Defensively, Brown leads the Ivy League in blocks per game (3.8), steals per game (7.9), and turnovers forced per game (13.5). The Bears rank second in field goal percentage defense (43.1) and scoring defense (69.6).
Scouting Penn
TJ Power was named Ivy League Player of the Week after his 38-point performance against Dartmouth (Feb. 27), Power is averaging 15.7 points per game.
Ethan Roberts ranks fourth in the Ivy League in points per game (16.9), Power ranks third in rebounds per game (7.5)
History
Earlier this season, Penn defeated Brown 81-73 (Jan. 10), inside the Palestra. The Bears have won two-straight games over the Quakers inside the Pizzitola Sports Center.
