Wertheim Named USILA Third Team All-American

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Senior Marcus Wertheim of the Brown men's lacrosse team has been named a Third Team All-American by USILA, the organization announced on Thursday afternoon.
This is Wertheim's third All-American nod of the season after being named Honorable Mention All-American by USA Lacrosse and Third Team All-American by Inside Lacrosse. The St. James, N.Y. native was also named First Team All-Ivy and was drafted 26th overall by the California Redwoods in the 2026 PLL College Draft.
Wertheim led the Bears in assists and points (46) in 2026, he recorded at least one point in all 13 games this season and recorded multiple points in 12 outings. Overall, Wertheim tallied career-highs in goals, assists, points, appearances, and shots on goal this season.
The senior recorded a career-high eight points and his 100th career point against Princeton (Apr. 28).
