Women's Water Polo Blows Past St. Francis with 16-7 Victory

LEWISBURG, Pa. – Brown women's water polo (9-4, 1-1 CWPA) closed out its weekend with a 16-7 win over St. Francis at Bucknell on Sunday (Feb. 22).
Sofia Flierl led Brown with five goals. Emmy Hensley finished the game with three, with Aubrie Anderson and Megan Newby each scoring two.
The game was tied at two with just over a minute left in the first quarter before Brown exploded on a 6-0 run to take control of the game. The Bears would lead 10-4 at halftime.
Brown never led by less than six in the second half and Flierl scored Brown's last four goals of the game in the fourth quarter to seal the victory.
UP NEXT
Brown will host part of the Harvard Invite next weekend (Feb. 28-March 1) with contests against Princeton, Wagner and LIU.
