Women's Water Polo has Three Named ACWPC All-America Honorable Mention

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown women's water polo had three student-athletes named Honorable Mention All-Americans by the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC), the association announced on Thursday (May 21).
Brown's three recipients are Alexandra Love, Madeleine Poissonnier and Cleo Washer. This is the first All-America honor for each of the three Bears.
Love earns the honor after being named First Team All-CWPA. The senior led Brown with 54 goals and added 23 assists, 22 exclusions drawn and 15 steals. She was also second on the team with 10 made penalty shots.
Poissonnier was named First Team CWPA All-Tournament, finishing the season with 23 goals, 22 assists, 31 steals and 25 exclusions drawn.
Washer was named Second Team All-CWPA and finished the year with 20 goals, 29 assists, 10 steals and 14 exclusions drawn.
Brown has now had three All-Americans in three of the last four season.
