
Women's Water Polo Heads to Bucknell for CWPA Play This Weekend

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Brown women's water polo (8-3) is traveling to Lewisburg, Pa., for the first round of CWPA play. Their first game will start Saturday, Feb. 21st, at 1:00 p.m. against Michigan (7-6) with the second game of the weekend starting at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 22, against Saint Francis (2-4).
Last weekend, the Bears went 3-1 during the Santa Clara Invite in Santa Clara, Calif.Â
Cal State Monterey Bay (13-9)
Ava Schoening and Alexandra Love led the Bears with three goals each. Emmy Hensley and Aubrie Anderson each scored two goals. Somto Okafo finished the game with six saves for Brown.
Santa Clara (18-7)
Sofia Holman led all scorers for the Bears with four goals. Madeleine Poissonnier, Hanna Homma, Aubrie Anderson and Ella Palmer all netted two goals. Six other Bears finished the game with one goal.
Pacific (16-7)
Sofia Holman led Brown with three goals. Madeliene Poissonnier, Emmy Hensley, Alexandra Love, and Audrey Long all netted two goals for the Bears. Somto Okafo finished with six saves in net.
