2/19/2026 11:09:00 AM | Wrestling
PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Brown wrestling (4-8, 0-4 Ivy) returns to the Pizzitola Sports Center to host Sacred Heart (3-8) on Saturday at 1 p.m. and Harvard (5-6, 1-3 Ivy) on Sunday at 1 p.m. Saturday will be Senior/Alumni Day and four seniors - No. 24/No.14 Alex Semenenko (285), Drew Clearie (174), Nick Olivieri (184), and Ian Oswalt (141) - will be recognized for their contributions to the wrestling program. On Sunday, Brown will recognize Beat the Streets, an organization that focuses on empowering local leaders to deliver sustainable and high-quality youth development programming that transforms the lives of boys and girls through the sport of wrestling.
Both matches will be streamed on ESPN+.Â
No. 19/No. 15 Andrew Reall (197) enters the weekend with a 30-4 record on the season and a team best 11-1 record in dual competition. Semenenko, who sits at 22-6 overall and 10-2 in dual competition, remains one of the top pinfall specialists in the nation with nine on the year. That total is good for fourth in NCAA DI, tied with Malachi DuVall (George Mason) and James Campbell (Michigan State). In addition, only one heavyweight in the country has recorded more pinfall victories than Semenenko, with Columbia's Vincent Mueller leading his weight class with 11 total falls.Â
The only ranked match of the weekend will take place on Sunday afternoon, when No. 29 Austin McBurney (149) squares off against No. 33 Jack Crook (Harvard). Both McBurney and Crook were ranked in the first iteration of the RPI rankings, which were released last week. McBurney is 18-11 on the season and 7-5 in dual competition. The matchup with Crook gives him an opportunity to earn his first ranked win of the season.Â
Coming off the first ranked win of his collegiate career against No. 20 Lorenzo Frezza (Columbia) last weekend, No. 32 Khimari Manns (141) will look to continue building his resume for a potential NCAA Tournament appearance as he prepares to face John Hildebrandt (Sacred Heart) and one of Dante Frinzi or Sidney Tildsley (Harvard). Manns is 16-15 on the season, with a 5-7 dual record.Â
Ethan Mojena (157) will be the only Brown wrestler to face an opponent that was ranked in both the latest coaches poll and the first RPI, as he prepares for a matchup against Harvard's Jimmy Harrington (No. 25/No. 7).Â
