
Ryan St. Louis Named Preseason All-ECAC; Bears Picked 10th in Preseason Poll

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown men's hockey senior Ryan St. Louis was named to the Preseason ECAC All-Tournament, the league announced on Thursday (Sept. 25).
St. Louis led Brown last season with 29 points, collecting 11 goals and 18 assists, including a program record six game-winning goals. As a junior, St. Louis was named Honorable Mention All-Ivy and was a Walter Brown Award semifinalist, as well as the Team MVP.
The league also announced the ECAC Preseason Poll on Thursday and the Bears were picked to finish 10th this season.
Brown finished the preseason poll with 47 points, one point behind St. Lawrence with 48. Quinnipiac led the preseason poll with 129 points, collecting nine of the 12 first-place votes. Clarkson was picked second with 118 points and two first-place votes with Cornell earning the final first-place vote and 111 points.
Dartmouth was picked fourth (97), followed by Union (93), Harvard (79), Colgate (77) and Princeton (55). Rensselaer (42) points came in behind Brown in 11th and Yale was picked 12th with 27 points.
