
Men’s Tennis Collects Four Wins on Final Day of Dartmouth Invitational

HANOVER, N.H. - The Brown men's tennis team closed out the Dartmouth Invitational on Sunday with four victories, earning two wins in both singles and doubles play.
In doubles action, Lukas Phimvongsa and Noah Hernandez teamed up to defeat Dartmouth's Groom and Pade (6-4). James Lian and Elliot Wasserman also picked up a win for the Bears, defeating Bryant's Hollingsworth and Boparai (6-4). Zander Bravo and Theo Murphy fell in a tight 6-4 match to Fairfield's Kollias and Alcala, while Cole Oberg and Robert Yang were edged 6-4 by Bryant's Machado and Baquero.
In singles competition, Wasserman fought back after dropping the first set to defeat Dartmouth's Groom (2-6, 6-4, 11-9). Robert Yang also earned a victory, taking down Bryant's Boparai in straight sets (7-6, 6-3). Cole Oberg came up just short in a three-set tiebreaker against Dartmouth's Wang (4-6, 6-1, 10-7), while Theo Murphy and Noah Hernandez both dropped close matches.
The Bears conclude the weekend with a strong showing across three days of play in Hanover, competing against opponents from Dartmouth, Bryant, and Fairfield.
