Men’s Water Polo Sweeps Day One in California

FULLERTON, Calfi -- No. 18 Brown men's water polo began its weekend with two wins today at Cal State Fullerton, their record is now 5-0.
Air Force (18-15)
The Bears came out strong, holding the Falcons to a 4-4 tie in the first quarter. By the second, they gained momentum, finishing with a 9-7 lead at halftime.
Dimitrios Kratimenos played a pivotal role with five saves, helping keep the Bears ahead in the third quarter.
Griffin Tunney and Jaxon Tierney also played a key role throughout the game, contributing a total of seven goals between them, while Ilias Stothart matched that with seven goals of his own.
The game wrapped up with a rapid exchange of goals in the final minutes. However, it was Brown's powerful finish and standout second-half performance that ultimately secured their victory.
Cal State Fullerton (12-8)
To kick off game two, the Bears' Ilias Stothart scored the opening goal with assistance from Mac Berry just 90 seconds in, helping them maintain a 4-3 lead through the first quarter.
Brown's offensive spread saw Ramzi Megalli netting four goals, with Jaxon Tierney, Filip Josipovic, and William Griswold also contributing to the scoreline.
Once again, Dimitrios Kratimenos played a huge role in helping his team stay on top with 14 saves in game two.
The Bears end day one with a 12-8 win against the Titans, maintaining their win streak from their last tournament.
