Men's Water Polo Begins Season With Bruno Classic

Providence, R.I. This weekend (Aug. 30-31), Brown men's water polo kicks off their season with four games in the Bruno Classic Tournament.
Starting at 1 p.m. on Saturday (Aug. 30), the Bears take on Gannon, with a game against Wagner at 6 p.m. to end the day. They finish the weekend bright and early at 9 a.m. Sunday (Aug. 31) against Bucknell with their final game starting at 1:30 p.m. against Pacific.
All games played during the tournament will be streamed live on ESPN+
The Bears enter the season coming off a 2024 campaign where they posted an 18-10 record overall and a 10-5 record at home.
Returning this season, Brown brings back its top four goal scorers, starting with Ilias Stothart with 101 goals. Following are Máté Tymcyna (84), Mac Berry (40), and Daniel Hadar (30).
Finally, in goal was Freshman Dimitrios Kratimenos with 162 saves during the 2024 season.
