20 Members of Brown Men's Crew Earn Empacher-IRCA Postseason Honors

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - After a successful season that saw the Varsity 8 finish fifth in the Grand Final at the 2025 IRA Championship in Camden, New Jersey, 20 members of the Brown men's crew program earned Empacher-IRCA postseason awards. Oliver Page-Kuhr (First Team), Savas Koutsouras (Second Team), Tom Griffin (Second Team), and Davis Kelly (Honorable Mention) all received All-American honors for the first time in their careers. This marks the fifth consecutive season that the Bears have had at least four members of their program earn All-American honors.Â
Page-Kuhr, Koutsouras, Griffin, and Kelly all raced with the Varsity 8 crew at the IRA Championship, with Page-Kuhr, Griffin, and Koutsouras helping the V8 finish fifth at the Eastern Sprints in Worcester, Massachusetts. Page-Kuhr, one of the senior leaders for Bruno, becomes the fifth member of the program this decade to be named a First Team All-American.Â
The Bears also found themselves well represented on the Empacher-IRCA Scholar-Athlete list, with 18 athletes receiving national recognition for their prowess in the classroom. Skye Bacon, Nick Gaensler, Tom Griffin, Davis Kelly, Lizzie Mitchell, Enno Mönch, Connor Prior, Dom Valt, and Adam von Bismarck all made the list for the second consecutive year.
Cole Matlack, Mees du Croo de Jongh, Adelaide Poulson, Marcus Winter, Tristan Green, Elenna Seguin, Gordan Milovac, and Davvid Person all earned their first Empacher-IRCA Scholar-Athlete nods, with Keyan O'Donnell making his second appearance on the list in the last three seasons.Â
