Alexis Guevara Named Ivy League Pitcher of the Week for Second Straight Week

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - For the second-straight week, Alexis Guevara was named Ivy League Pitcher of the Week after throwing two gems last weekend, the league announced on Monday (March 17).
For the weekend, Guevara went 2-0 with a 0.00 ERA, throwing complete game shutouts against both Sacred Heart and Holy Cross. Over the 14 innings pitched over the weekend, Guevara struck out 12 batters and walked just four.
Guevara has now allowed just one run in her last 27 innings and has lowered her season ERA to 1.35 and is holding opponents to a .201 batting average. The senior has 57 strikeouts in just 52 innings on the year.
